Due to the inclement weather, Masonry Madness has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 6th. Schedule and times remain the same.
Masonry Madness is a phenomenon that will grip the architectural community on March 5th this year. There’s nothing like wall to wall masonry. If you are a true fan and want to get close to the action, you are going to need to make sure you register soon to get a seat at our super bowl of masonry program.
You will learn about the award winning design highlights of the Hanover Park Police Station and what’s new in masonry and masonry techniques. This is a not to miss event.
Masonry Madness Schedule
5:30-6:30 PM Registration, Open Bar, Hors d'oeuvres, Exhibits
6:30-7:00 PM Hanover Park Police Station Case Study presentation by Chris Coyne, Leopardo Companies
7:00-8:00 PM Tours of mockups (Masonry Madness will be split into 4 groups; visiting 15 minutes at each station)
Station 1: Wonderwall display; Cavity wall; Veneer wall; Loadbearing masonry wall
Station 2: Air barrier displays; Marble and Granite displays; Ventilated Rainscreen displays, Fireplace displays
Station 3: Tuckpointing
Station 4: Terrazzo
8:00-8:15 PM Architects can take pictures of all the mockups at their leisure.
The Bar will be open from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.
Cost is $25.00 for members and guests which includes drinks, buffet and program.
Attendees earn 1.5 LU in HSW/ SD.
