This presentation focuses on the building enclosure and how the designer can achieve codes and reference compliance and designer intent with an initial cost effective design. Wall types will be presented and dissected to inform attending architects/designers on possible solutions for their projects.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify specific wall types.
2. Review specific insulation, vapor retarder and air barrier systems.
3. Learn what transitional details work best for which wall internal components.
4. Achieve understanding of trade coordination with wall components and their transitional details.
