This hands-on program will give participants a clearer understanding of the interrelationship in masonry building between materials, architecture, engineering and construction.
Learn how simple decisions can dramatically affect the building and how understanding options available in materials, design and construction methods can result in more efficient and cost-effective structures.
We will explore ways to use existing materials more effectively, explanations of the effect of one selection on another, and discuss new materials and current code provisions will be included.
The proper understanding of masonry as a system will result in completed buildings that are more cost-effective and efficient. Hands-on provides a better understanding of the masonry installation process.
