Andy Czajkowski is a collaborative designer, architect, and urbanist with 25 years of experience in planning and design of complex, multi-stakeholder, urban infill, and suburban reinvention projects.
Through careful observation, thoughtful analysis, and innovative thinking, Andy considers each project within its surroundings and seeks to raise the aesthetic and architectural bar of the community through design. Andy has a passion for creating buildings and places that inspire individuals and support thriving communities.
Andy has a long history of pairing his creative problem-solving skills with his ability to navigate complex design and zoning challenges to meet his clients’ goals and exceed their expectations. As principal, Andy has led the design and entitlement of significant mixed-use and multifamily developments in the Washington, D.C. metro area and across the country, including The Upton at 4000 Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, D.C.; 5500 Wisconsin Avenue in The Village of Friendship Heights, MD; 7126 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, MD; The Arbor at Halley Rise of Reston, VA; and The Muse Condominiums in Old Town Alexandria, VA.
Additionally, Andy has led several large planning, entitlement and design transformations of suburban malls, shopping centers, and office parks, including Northeast Heights in Washington, D.C.; Phase 2 of The Boro in Tysons, VA; Channel House at North Hills in Raleigh, NC; The Atworth at Mellody Farm; Phase 2 of Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills, IL; and Phase 2 of Fox Valley Mall in Aurora, IL.
Andy is a member of the American Institute of Architects, has served on design juries at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Maryland, and has lectured at the Catholic University of America.
