 Tour of Skill Advancement Centers
Attendees will tour the Skill Advancement Learning Centers within the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council’s Apprentice and Training Center. At each model, presenters will cover key aspects of the installation process. Within the one-hour timeframe, attendees will choose from the list of centers to observe the skills and techniques required to insure accurate, safe, durable, and overall quality construction. The one-hour tour includes stops at: Building Enclosure, Advanced Metal Framing and Ceiling Installations, Hardware and Security, Infection Control Risk Assessment Environments, Solar Panels and Installation, and Mass Timber Construction Models and Timber Framing.
