ALA offers continuing education programs
ALA offers continuing education programs to help members stay current on a variety of topics. Some ways you can obtain learning units are:
Live programs - Usually these are lunch or evening meetings held by our Chapters. We also offer half day and full day programs throughout the year.
Our next live program, Emerging Construction Technologies: New Thought on the Way to Design Better Projects will be Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Regional Council of Carpenters, Elk Grove Village, IL. Architects will earn 4.25 learning units. This event includes a tour of the solar and mass timber exhibits with discussion. Click for Program Information
Webinars - These are one hour lunchtime programs conducted Central Standard time (CST) via the web for convenience.
Virtual 2021 Annual Conference and Product Show - Our Annual Conference and Product Show is a three day, afternoon virtual event October 20, 21, and 22 that provides business, technical and other relevant programs delivered by leading industry professionals, so architects can earn up to 6.0 CEUs.
Article in Licensed Architect - Each issue of Licensed Architect includes a continuing education article for architects to read and submit a test for grading by the ALA office. Click for Publications
