This course is designed to educate the design community on the compliance provisions of the 2018 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and develop an understanding of component assemblies that comply with the provisions of the IECC for residential and commercial buildings.The course will dig into compliance using COMcheck and understanding proper software entries.
1: Identify 2018 IECC pathways for compliance.
2. Understand the effects of building materials related to energy performance.
3: Develop an understanding of building envelope component entries using COMcheck.
4: Understand proper COMcheck entries for mechanical and lighting equipment.
