Sexual Harassment Prevention and Bystander Intervention Training
This important webinar will cover sexual harassment prevention and bystander intervention training requirements not only for Illinois and Chicago but also other jurisdictions. Whether or not this training is mandated in your location, it is strongly encouraged for all employees, as it promotes a healthier, safer workplace. Even if not required by law, proactive training demonstrates a commitment to creating a respectful work environment, reduces the risk of legal issues, and equips employees and supervisors with the tools to prevent harassment.
Presented by Josh Levy, a commercial construction Partner at Husch Blackwell LLP, and Julie Garabedian, a labor & employment attorney at Husch Blackwell LLP, this two-hour program is tailored to meet the specific training requirements for Illinois and Chicago, and is designed to fulfill continuing education credits for architects in Illinois.
This Webinar Meets Illinois Architect License Renewal Requirements.
As an acceptable education provider under Section 1150.105 f. of the IDFPR Administrative Rules for Architecture, ALA ensures that all Illinois-based architects who hold a professional license complete a one-hour sexual harassment prevention training course as part of their license renewal process. The course is approved for 1 LU by both ALA and AIA.
Who Should Attend?
All Illinois and Chicago-based employers, employees, supervisors, and independent contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. This training is essential for:
- Illinois and Chicago architects who need to complete their mandatory sexual harassment prevention training for license renewal.
- Chicago-based employers who are legally required to provide sexual harassment prevention and bystander intervention training to employees and supervisors.
- Employers in other jurisdictions who wish to promote a respectful and legally compliant workplace through best practices.
