Kara is a licensed architect with 10 years of experience in architecture, specializing in historic preservation. Her focus is on the sensitive and sympathetic rehabilitations of existing buildings. At JLK Architects, she is a project manager where she leads preservation planning, repair, and rehabilitation projects. She is an active member in APT-DC WGLC and received the APT-DC Emerging Professional Sponsorship in 2016.
