Oliver Bray is a distinguished associate at Zaha Hadid Architects. Since joining the team in 2013, Oliver has been a pivotal force behind the design and realization of innovative projects across the globe. His remarkable contributions include his work on the award-winning One Thousand Museum in Miami, USA, where he was instrumental in overseeing the project from its initial design phase through to completion.
Alongside this landmark project, Oliver has leveraged his exceptional skills in the design of commercial office buildings in Hong Kong and Bratislava, focusing on the rationalization of building façades for construction.
Oliver's architectural journey began at Newcastle University, where he pursued his passion for architecture. He further honed his expertise by completing his diploma in the Bioclimatic Unit of the Manchester School of Architecture (MSA). Beyond his professional accomplishments, Oliver is dedicated to academia as an associate lecturer at the Manchester School of Architecture. Here, he engages in the Bioclimatic department, sharing his deep interest in environmental design and technological innovations in architecture with the next generation of architects.
With a broad experience spanning various sectors and typologies—including educational institutes, energy facilities, commercial offices, and residential towers—Oliver is a passionate advocate for a collaborative design approach. He is deeply committed to the realization of architectural ideas in their built form, having successfully completed numerous projects in the UK and the USA.
