Laura Cooley has a unique blend of technical, process, business and people acumen developed over twenty years as a consultant and leader in global and national AEC firms. She holds a BS Industrial Engineering California State University, Fresno and is presently pursuing a Masters/PhD in Construction Management and Science at Clemson University.

Laura is the Founder and Partner of The Zip Syndicate and member of the Board of Directors for the Construction Institute. Past lives include acting as Associate Vice President & Director of Training and Development for Limbach, managing all training and development for the company’s ten business units and held a seat on the company’s Women In Construction and Service Advisory Board with special emphasis on mentorship, leadership and training. 

Laura was also a Senior Manager of Operational Excellence with Gilbane Building Company, leading Operational Excellence and Learning & Development for the New York Region.
