Travel Sketches: Celebrating the Beauty and Inspiration of Travel
The Association of Licensed Architects is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024 Napkin Sketch Contest, a celebration of creativity and inspiration on a 5-inch by 5-inch canvas. This year’s theme, Travel Sketches, invited architects, students, and non-professionals to capture the beauty and wonder of travel, whether a local landmark or a far-off destination, through their unique artistic lens. The contest reflects ALA’s mission to Connect. Design. Inspire., uniting the architectural community, providing a platform for creative expression, and recognizing exceptional talent.
Participants showcased their originality and sketching skills, with entries judged on creativity, technical ability, and alignment with the travel theme. A panel of esteemed judges reviewed the submissions, selecting winners across four categories: Overall First Place, Licensed Architect, Non-Professional, and Student.
