As active design director of Epstein, a multidisciplinary architecture firm located in Chicago, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, Patrick leads the design and planning of developments around the world. A native of Rome, Italy, he graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has over 20 years of professional experience in hospitality, residential, office, retail and large-scale mixed-use high-rise developments.
Some of his award-winning work includes the design and planning of NEVA Towers, a set of mixed-use residential high-rises located in Moscow’s International Business Center; Piramal Vaikunth, a high-rise mixed-use development in Thane, India; a triple-brand high-rise hotel in Chicago’s McCormick Place; and SILK District, a residential mixed-use development in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In partnership with Foster + Partners, Patrick is currently involved in the planning and design of the $10 billion Port Authority Bus terminal redevelopment in Manhattan.
Patrick has been an advocate for sustainability and adaptive re-use and has actively implemented environmentally conscious design strategies to achieve BREEAM, LEED and PASSIVE HOUSE certifications in many of his projects.
